LB Film Fest is a local festival celebrating and uniting creative people in and around Leighton Buzzard. We hope it is the foundation of a growing film scene for the area.
The idea for LB Film Fest began in the pub, where all good ideas begin. As two filmmakers with their own work, we were missing a place to show the films we had made and share it with other people working in film locally to us. Leighton Buzzard is a growing town with a large number of people working in creative industries, we knew there were more people just like us. The festival is all about bringing those people together!
WHAT DO WE HOPE THE FESTIVAL WILL DO?
Our dream is that the festival:

Brings together local creatives and filmmakers

Creates a space to showcase work made by local people to the community where they live

Celebrates and encourages creativity and collaboration between all generations.

Connect between filmmakers in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and encourage collaborations.
