Born in 1997 in Southampton, Eben grew up with a desire to capture his world on a handheld camcorder. After graduating from The University of Bristol with a degree in Biology, Eben pursued a career in TV & Film. He has worked in various positions, from camera technician, to set dressing on big-budget productions.
"I'm so thrilled to be able to share a glimpse into the life of Mark Smallman. He's truly a larger-than-life character, whom I've wanted to capture since seeing him perform live in my late teens.
When I met him for an outdoor art lesson during the end of the Covid Lockdown, we bonded over our mutual interests in rock music, oil painting and wild animals. He's truly a multi-talented maverick, and I hope I've managed to capture his enthusiasm for creativity, and performance in this little biopic."
